An acid ester, more commonly known simply as an ester, is an organic compound formed by the reaction between an acid (typically a carboxylic acid) and an alcohol, where the acidic hydrogen of the acid is replaced by an organic group from the alcohol. These compounds are recognizable for their distinct fruity and floral scents and are found naturally in many plants. Butyl Acetate

Butyl acetateIt is a highly adaptable solvent with stable performance at low temperatures. It is a common organic is widely used in the paint, coating and cleaning industry to effectively dissolve and optimize product performance.

Methyl Acetate

Q: Is butyl acetate compatible with plastic parts on precision circuit boards during electronic component cleaning?

A: ABS, PC and other engineering plastics are not corrosive, but after cleaning, it needs to be dried quickly to prevent moisture adsorption.

Q: Is the low temperature tolerance up to standard in aerospace composite coating?

A: N-BUTYLACETATEESTER is not crystallized at-50℃, but it needs to be combined with low temperature resistant resin (such as fluorocarbon resin) to avoid coating brittleness and peeling.

Q: How to improve the coating uniformity in UV curing adhesive? Should it be stored in the dark?

A: As a diluent to reduce viscosity and avoid sagging, it should be stored in the dark to prevent the photo-initiator from reacting prematurely and no residue after curing.
